Dingle Tradfest kicks–off on September 10th and will run until September 13th. Now, well established and in its 5th year, the festival will host a series of concerts, a themed session trail and outdoor events including a mountain hike and session on Cnoc a’ Cairn and a busking competition on the Saturday of the festival.

Milwaukee Irish Fest has been bringing the sights and sounds of Ireland to Milwaukee since 1981. In honor of its 35th anniversary, this year’s festival will be the largest celebration to date, with more than 100 acts on 17 stages and all sorts of special surprises. FleadhTV, the ratings success story for TG4 last year, returns Thursday 13th to Sunday 16th August 2015 for four nights of the very best in Irish traditional and contemporary music. Hebridean singer Kathleen MacInnes teams up with Donegal accordion maestro Dermot Byrne, maverick flute and whistle player Brian Finnegan, and award-winning Scottish guitarist and fiddler Mike Vass on an eleven-date nationwide tour. On stage, Hebridean songbird Kathleen MacInnes is a natural, sharing a joke one minute then breaking hearts the next with a soulful, earthy voice that lingers with the listener long after the last note has been sung. The Virtual Trad Orchestra is a ground breaking initiative that will premiere as part of the theatre’s Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann celebrations.

The Manx Celtic music trio Barrule will be one of the headliners at this year FIL in Lorient, the world’s biggest Celtic festival with Cornwall and the Isle of Man being the featured Celtic Nations this year. Barrule, Adam Rhodes bouzouki, Tomas Callister fiddle and Mabon’s accordion player Jamie Smith, play Manx tunes in the style of Lúnasa and are joined by Calum Stewart the flute and pipes player from Scotland. Their new album will be reviewed in out 20th anniversary issue, which is out next month. The album Mannan’s Cloak is already gaining high praise from traditional music critics.
