Surrounded by the majestic Rocky Mountains in Estes Park, Colorado, the Rocky Mountain Irish Gathering is truly a magnificent event for the entire family.  The Gathering is a celebration of Irish culture and history uniquely presented through both educational and fun exhibits, film, lecturers, storytellers, vendors and music all in a festival atmosphere with special guests from Ireland and the US.  Irish or not, come hear the sounds of pipes and drums as they echo across the festival grounds, watch the lightning fast pace of feet as multiple Dance Troupes showcase their best of all ages. Hear an entire musical performance sung in Gaelic!
Special guests include Don Mullan, Kevin O’ Hara, Dr. Sarah O’ Brien, Fintan O’ Toole, Kristin Leary, Grace Brady, Dr. Miriam Nyhan and Bryce Evans. The Friday Concert includes Trinity Irish Dancers, Seo Linn and Colm Keegan.

The Saturday Concert includes Trinity Irish Dancers, Seo Linn and Keith Harken. If you own an instrument, be sure to bring it along and join in with other musicians playing in the grand Open Seisiun tent. There will be plenty of seating for both musicians and festival guests in this truly enjoyable aspect of the Irish culture.
Children are very welcome at the festival. The Children’s Barn starts with a 16,000 sq foot open space designed to keep the young ones busy all day! Weather proof and injury proof because the floor is covered 100% in cushioned stall mats for both comfort and protection of any accidental falls.
Children can enjoy the activities here under the watchful eye of Director Mandy Volz and her staff. This allows mom and dad to head off on their own adventures and take in all of the activities that the festival offers without worry.
