Youghal Activities
Cork Rebel Week incorporates Cork City and 9 Host Towns throughout County Cork. Youghal Comhaltas accepted the “Public Call” when invited to do so by Cork County and City Councils.  They are leading the Youghal submission and will gratefully accept assistance from all groups in the locality. So far the  are working with The local Restaurants, Pubs,Youghal4all, The Chamber of Tourism and Commerce Community Radio Youghal, the Rugby and GAA clubs.Other Clubs and organisations are also encouraged to host gathering events during the week.

Each Town will be expected to showcase itself and its activities in a day long City event on Saturday October 19th.
So far the Youghal activities boasts a strong music section in s week long events list.

EVENTS INCLUDE:

•    A German Marching Band of 35 players already confirmed and flights booked.

•   All Ireland Champions  2013. The Moylurg Ceili Band have agreed to play a Ceili in Youghal on Friday.

•   Traditional Music Workshops

•   A 10 Piece Italian Folk Band

•   A number of All Ireland individual winners and the under 12 Grupai Ceoil All Ireland winners from Dundalk are invited.

•   English Comhaltas Grouos

•   Youghal Comhaltas celebrate’s it’s 30th Anniversary

•   Zoe Conway in concert
