Recording a cd can be a daunting task. There can be a myriad of different elements from recording & mastering to sleeve & website design Co-ordinating all of these elements to arrive with a finished cd, a website, & a way to present yourself to the world, can be tricky, especially for a debut album. Sonas recording & Óg media group have come together to make the process a little easier. Sonas Recording is a studio based in Killarney, Co. Kerry since 1994.

It has 3 live rooms, allowing musicians to record live together but with total separation. They have a great mic collection & the studio finds itself well–suited to and is mostly busy with, acoustic & traditional music. It’s also set in a stunning location on a 5 acre site, overlooking mountains and a lake.

Óg Media Group takes care of the design element. Cd sleeve design, website design, and  branding. They also help combine all of the social media sites we’ve come to expect an artist to have for maximum exposure.  Between them, Sonas & Óg media group can provide all the elements needed to produce a finished cd & website.

Recent projects they have worked on together include albums by, Danny O’Mahony, Niamh Ní Charra, Alan Kelly Gang & Colin Farrell. Individually, they’ve worked with Lunasa, John Spillane, Mick Flannery, Solas & many more.
