Music Network is currently seeking applications from Irish and Ireland-based professional musicians and composers interested in participating in Making Overtures. The closing date for receipt of applications is Monday 26th September, 2011 at 5pm.
Making Overtures is a professional development course that focuses on two key, non-artistic aspects of a successful career in music: self-promotion and self-management. The course is delivered by Irish and international experienced professionals addressing a range of areas including media, marketing, finance & taxations as well as local, national and international supports.
In 2011, Music Network will be offering course participants three options: Option 1: Self-Promotion: Tuesday 1st & Wednesday 2nd November, 2011 (9:30am – 5:30pm) Course fee €100.
Option 2: Self-Management:Thursday 3rd & Friday 4th November, 2011 (9:30am – 5:30pm) Course fee €100. Option 3: Self-Promotion & Self-Management: Tuesday 1st – Friday 4th, November, 2011 (9:30am – 5:30pm). Course fee €200.
The course will take place at the Centre for Creative Practices, 15 Lower Pembroke Street, Dublin 2.
