Guitarist, Mark Anthony McGrath’s original interpretations of music from the ancient harp compositions of Turlough O’Carolan to the Chansons of Jacques Brel have become a regular feature on RTE Lyric FM, Radio France Musique, Radio Scotland and similar radio stations throughout Europe.

Described as an unquestionably gifted, always inventive guitarist by Hot Press magazine, he has performed extensively throughout Europe and the U.S. as a solo artist and session musician.
Champagne and Onions is Mark’s fourth solo album and features traditional and contemporary traditional music from Ireland and Scotland, where he has recently resided alongside original works including 10 minute solo guitar piece entitled Lyric Epiphony which was originally commissioned by Lyric FM.
