PAUL BRADY IS TRAVELLIN LIGHT BACK HOME TO TYRONE
Strule Arts Centre is delighted to announce Paul Brady will be performing one of only two Northern Irish tour dates in Strule on Sunday 24th May. His “Travelin’ Light” tour will be solo shows where Paul will be perfoming on guitar and piano for around 90 mins. Over the years, Paul’s intimate solo shows have thrilled audiences worldwide. Many fans feel that being in the company of the solo Brady on stage is the best way to experience his music. Expect to hear a bunch of new songs from his upcoming record plus loads of your favourites from the past. It’s been some years since Paul has toured solo in Ireland and over 10 years since he’s performed in Tyrone.
Close to finishing his first album of new songs since 2005 Paul is excited with the recording, with thirteen songs completed to date. Seven of these Paul Brady compositions, four Paul co-writes, one is a traditional song featuring Andy Irvine and one Lennon/ McCartney song, just to confuse people! It looks like a late summer release now. Latest working title is ‘The Winners’ Ball’. Expect several surprises! The plan is to upload snippets of the finished work onto Paul’s website www.paulbrady.com in advance of the release.
