This St. Patricks Day Special edition of Geantraí comes from Campbells Tavern, Cloughanover, Co. Galway.

The programme features The Saw Doctors, Líadan, John Spillane, box player Máirtín O’Connor, together with fiddle player Cathal Hayden, guitarist Seamie O’Dowd and percussionist Jim Higgins and Chicago fiddle player Liz Carroll accompanied by Paul Meehan.

The Saw Doctors always enjoy playing Campbells Tavern and they treat the crowd to perennial favourites The Joyce Country Céilí Band and N17 as well as two new songs ‘Someone Love You’ and ‘Friday Town’.

Líadan sing the appropriately titled ‘P Stands for Paddy’ while John Spillane performs his ‘All the ways you wander’ as well as ‘Óró sé do Bheatha Abhaile’.

There is plenty of quick tempo instrumental music also for the Máirtín O’Connor group while Liz Carroll changes the mood with her evocative ‘The Island of Woods’.
