Brrrrr….. hello from chilly Dublin, December is around the corner and Kíla are back out on the road again to help get the Christmas cheer started, starting this weekend with gigs in Ireland and Spain; in The Stables, Mullingar, Dolans Warehouse, Limerick Thursday and Friday before they head off to Las Palmas, Gran Canaria for the Womad festival on Saturday. Gamblers’ Ballet is available for download from itunes and other major digital distribution sites from tomorrow, the album continues to get rave reviews across the world and renowned world music magazine Songlines have chosen the eastern inspired track Fir Bolg for inclusion on their Top of the World CD available with their end of year issue in shops from December 14th. www.songlines.co.uk

Release of Colm’s Solo Album  - Giving
Colm’s long awaited first solo album Giving was released in Ireland last Friday, it is a beautiful album of thirteen sumptuous songs in English and Irish featuring guest musicians Liam Ó Maonlaí, Lisa Hannigan, Ritchie Buckley amongst others, I have put a couple of tracks up on Kíla myspace www.myspace.com/kilaofficial  drop by and have a listen.
