Martin Hayes and Dennis Cahill are to play a concert in aid of the Midlands Simon Community at Capital Cars BMW Showrooms on Saturday the 7th of July at 8.30p.m

Martin Hayes’accomplishments extend far and wide both artistically and geographically. He has been an All-Ireland fiddle champion six times over. Born in Feakle Co Clare Marin plays on the slow, lyrical style of his native East County Clare. Martin is the son of the legendary P.J Hayes, former leader of the famed Tulla Ceili Band.

Dennis Cahill is a master Guitarist versed as well in classical, blues and rock as he is in traditional music, he is a native of Chicago born to parents from County Kerry.

The duo of Hayes and Cahill possess a rare musical kinship, ranking them among the most memorable partnerships of the era.

Proceeds of Concert to fund the work of the Midlands Simon Community. The concert is being sponsored by Capital Cars BMW motors and the entire proceeds will go towards funding the work of the Midlands Simon Community.

The Midlands Simon Community currently works with individuals, couples and families, supporting them to move out of homelessness.

Speaking in advance of the concert Mr.Tony O’ Riordan C.E.O of Midlands Simon said “we are delighted that Capital Cars BMW are supporting us in sponsoring this concert. The proceeds that are raised will go directly to funding our work with people in the midlands region”.
